Hotel Tommasi

We’ve stayed here three times, and the staff have always been pleasant and professional. The rooms and shared areas are clean, and breakfast is consistently good with lots of choices. They serve their own coffee brand. Reserve a parking spot, since the area can get crowded with cars. Our child found things to watch among the TV channels. We also ate at the restaurant, and they offer a shuttle between the hotel and restaurant. That’s a thoughtful option if you want drinks without having to worry about drinking and driving. We’re happy to book here each time.

We only spent one night here before leaving Germany. It’s a nice little hotel, with clean, very quiet rooms and a good breakfast. The airport shuttle was convenient and the stay was good value. We didn’t explore the area, but it looked like there were places to go and shops for supplies nearby.

We travel a lot and needed somewhere near FRA. I was skeptical when this hotel came up in a search, but the ratings convinced us to try it, and it exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spotless and well equipped, with both a coffeemaker and a kettle. It’s a family business run by an Italian family who also own the Tommasi restaurant. Everyone was kind and accommodating. We decided at the last minute to bring our little dog, so they moved us to different rooms without any fuss. One person in our party can’t have gluten, and I brought our own pasta to the restaurant. They cooked it for us and didn’t charge for the gluten-free meal since we supplied the pasta. The food was good, especially the pasta and pizza dishes. The hotel is very quiet, in a small town about 15 minutes from the airport. A free shuttle is available if needed, and they also offer airport transfers. I believe one costs EUR 30 for up to six people. We had a very nice car, driven by the hotel owner himself. We’ll make this our go-to when we’re in the area.

We loved our stay at this little hidden gem for a road trip. The rooms were great, with comfortable beds and excellent showers. There’s private parking, including charging for electric vehicles. Breakfast was great too: delicious eggs and bacon, good coffee from their own brand, and a variety of breads and rolls. The croissants were mini-sized, though, and would have made it perfect if they were full-size. That’s about the only thing I can think of improving. The landlord was very hospitable, and the service was excellent. There’s also a free shuttle to their lovely restaurant, where the food was delicious. If you’re traveling through Frankfurt, stay here. You won’t regret it.
