The room was basic but acceptable, and the location was convenient for my five-night business trip. The service, though, was very poor. When I arrived around 6pm to check in, I waited about 10 minutes at an empty reception desk. The staff member who eventually came didn't acknowledge the wait or apologize. There were two bottles of water in the room on the first day, but none were replaced after that. The hotel didn't sell bottled water at reception, and the vending machine only took coins, not cards. When I asked for help because I was thirsty, I was told they couldn't help and it wasn't their responsibility. For a guest staying several nights, that's frustrating and felt rude. The service fell short of what I expected, especially on a business trip.

The hotel was a convenient stop along our route, and that was about the only average part of our stay. We were refused allergy-free pillows and a duvet. The receptionist blamed me for not mentioning it earlier, then said housekeeping leaves at 18:00. I was worried about having a swollen face or an asthma attack from sleeping with feathers. We managed to take off the duvet, but had only a sheet and were cold. I used a cushion from the lobby as a pillow. I've never been refused allergy-free pillows or bed covers on my travels. There was absolutely no customer service here. If good service matters to you, don't stay at this hotel.

The only thing that made us uncomfortable was seeing the waiter berate another staff member in front of us. That person had only been trying to help us, and it seemed unnecessary that they got into so much trouble for it. Otherwise, we had a lovely stay. The reception was superb, all our rooms were beautiful, parking was brilliant, and the food was very good. We'd definitely go again.

There’s a large free parking area, so it’s easy to find a place for the car. The rooms are also very nice and spacious compared with local hotels at the same price. The hotel is in a nice spot on highway number 40 (Autobahn40), with a lovely park and an outdoor swimming pool behind it. I also liked the reception's decor and atmosphere, with a comfortable place to sit and nice music. I liked the place a lot.
