The setting is lovely, and the hotel is a real bargain. Breakfast was a decent continental buffet. Probably the best option here. I’d recommend it and would come back.

The whole room felt unclean, and the shower head was covered in mold and dirt. A coffee or tea stain was already on the nightstand when we arrived and was still there after our four-day stay. We tested it with water and a tissue, and it came off in seconds. The cleaning staff had left it untouched. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone I know.

Breakfast was quite decent, and the hotel was clean with good beds. The rooms are very basic and functional, with no decorations, and there were no drinks in the mini fridge. A hallway vending machine had a few options instead. Staff aren’t around all the time, especially before check-in, and you have to leave your keys at the front desk when checking out. We also heard people in the hall and neighboring rooms at night, so next time I’d ask for a quiet room. Parking can be hard to find in town, so being able to reserve a spot right in front of the hotel for E10 made the stay worthwhile for the price. Would I return? Yes.

Besttime hotel was the perfect finishing touch to our visit. Monschau impressed us with its beauty and atmosphere as soon as we arrived, and the hotel was great value for money. Our room was small but cozy, with heating radiators, a TV, a spacious closet, a mini fridge, and the necessary accessories. Even though we were on the basement floor, we still had a nice view of the village because the hotel sits well above road level. We’d come again.
