Make a reservation, even for a Monday. The place was full when we were there. I had a memorable, enjoyable evening, with a great steak, generous portions, and warm service in a cozy setting. There’s ample parking, which isn’t something you usually find in Germany. I’ll be back, thank you!

A relaxed spot with good food. Mariella is really friendly and speaks perfect English, which is helpful for tourists visiting the area.

A car is probably the easiest way to get around. There aren’t many shops or restaurants nearby, and the bus is limited to one stop, runs infrequently, and doesn’t connect on Sundays. Otherwise, the property is beautiful and in a superb location. It has a nice mix of retro style and modern touches, without that lonely feel some very modern hotels have. The family managing it are friendly and greet you with a smile. A few things could be better: the Wi-Fi is weak in the room, there should be a laundry area for longer stays, and breakfast could have more options.

For a one-night business stay with a meal included, this hotel was very good value for the price. The steak was one of the best I’ve had anywhere.

I’ve only been to the restaurant, but the food is amazing. I’ll definitely be back many times.
