The food was excellent, and the service stayed great throughout the day. We had a very good stay overall. Our one issue was the room under the uninsulated roof: we booked it during one of the hottest days of summer, and even with the fan provided, it was hard to cool the room down at night. That's why I gave it 4 rather than 5.

The lake access was a real highlight, with a place to swim or just take in the gorgeous view. I went for a business trip and would come back for a holiday. The food was delicious, and the bedroom was clean and cute. It felt like the hotel wanted guests to relax and feel good, with management paying attention to the details that make that happen.

We came back twice, first for a private weekend and then for a team meeting, and I was very happy with both stays. The hotel sits on a hill with a storybook view over Starnbergersee and the mountains in the distance. Gardens, a pond, forest, and a quiet setting all around. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were great, and the food was delicious. I’d recommend it for either a personal getaway or a team event.

The musicians at the hotel were brilliant, and the food looked as good as it tasted. I had a really enjoyable weekend here, with helpful staff and a great manager. Loved the little private beach and the natural swimming pond in the morning. Such a good spot to focus and unwind. 🙂🤩👌🏼🥳

At 150€ a night, having the WiFi switched off after 11pm is unacceptable. If you’re travelling internationally and need internet around the clock to watch a movie, chat with friends, or do anything online, you’ll get bored here. (NO INTERNET AFTER 11PM) Apart from that, the hotel is cute and clean, with gorgeous views.
