One small inconvenience was having to go downstairs to use the toilet. In our room, the bedroom and bathroom were up in the loft, though the hotel also has rooms all on one level. The room itself was very clean, but the color scheme might not suit everyone. We stayed one night. The hotel restaurant is closed on Thursdays, and the nearest, almost only, place to eat is another hotel about a 500 m walk away.

The wellness area is especially well built, and it was lovely to relax there with views across the river. We had a very nice stay at this hotel right beside the Mosel.

The hotel backs onto fantastic traffic-free cycling routes along the Mosel, and we brought our Ebikes. We have nothing like that in England. It’s a beautiful part of Germany. We had a brilliant week here. The facilities are amazing, the staff are polite and gracious, and breakfast caters for everybody.

Everyone on our team had a lovely stay at Hotel Weisser Bar Mulheim. The reception staff, waitresses, chefs and cleaners all helped make things smooth, and we’re especially grateful to Lukas for helping me organise a successful company offsite. We were welcomed with warm smiles from the whole staff, and the customer service was excellent.

The pool felt quite cold, so we would have liked it to be a bit warmer. We were very happy with the spa, food and service, though, and had a lovely room with a small balcony and a perfect river view. The hotel is beautiful and sits in a very nice, quiet area.
