The rooms were great, and the staff were polite. Having a REWE supelrmarket right beside the hotel was handy. The elevators were the one drawback: they’re small and can get pretty crowded.

The front desk team made a real difference. Marc and his colleagues helped me a lot with an order I was trying to place at another hotel, where I couldn’t get past the language barrier. I also enjoyed the breakfast, and the location worked well for getting to Bayern Munich games. Had an excellent stay!

I won’t be back. The room felt run down, with dirty carpets and a worn bathroom, and the balconies were gross and had no seating. It’s also too far from everything. My first room smelled of smoke, but the front desk person found me another one on the same floor, which I appreciated. People smoke constantly here, and you can smell it all the time. Housekeeping changed the room over each day, though twice they forgot the coffee creamer. That’s literally the one thing that really pisses me off when I stay in hotels 250 nights a year. There are better places in Munich.

The suite had potential, and I was warmly welcomed at reception on my business trip, even getting an upgrade. It was spacious, with clean, inviting bedding and living room furniture, though the age of the room showed. The door also had marks that suggested someone had tried to force it open before. The bathroom was a letdown. The sink area and toilet itself were clean, but the room felt neglected: spiderwebs by the window, a large dead spider, and visible “backsplash” marks on the wall near the toilet. I told the front desk the next morning and they said housekeeping would handle it. When I came back that evening, nothing had changed. On the first night, I called reception because there was no cutlery in the room. They said they’d bring some up, but after 20 minutes while my food got cold, I went down and got it myself. Friendly staff and a promising suite, but the cleanliness and lack of follow-through left a poor impression.

For a hotel carrying the name “Sheraton,” this felt far below the expected standard. The room was badly maintained: broken doors held together with duct tape and screws, damaged wooden air vents, and carpets that were stained and smelled bad. There was also often a lingering weed smell in the corridor, as if people were smoking it in the hotel. The wellness and spa facilities were completely outdated and worn out too, with broken lockers and old equipment. Munich has plenty of better hotels at lower prices.
