Amalienburg Boutique & Boarding Hotel

We were upgraded to an apartment with a good-sized room and comfortable beds. Everything was clean and the location was good. We never saw reception because check-in was handled through a kiosk, but the process worked well.

The room was a good size and very clean, and the staff who helped us were lovely. We live nearby, but after I accidentally locked us out of our apartment, we needed somewhere to stay in an emergency. We arrived at midnight without a booking, and the male receptionist got out of bed to help. He was incredibly friendly, found us a nice room straight away and even gave us toothbrushes. The woman checking us out in the morning was just as friendly and professional. I’m unlikely to need to return, but I can highly recommend this hotel and the staff who came to our rescue. Book with confidence.

I had comfortable nights here during my trip, and breakfast was nice too. It’s a lovely family-owned hotel, with warm, friendly people who are always ready to help. I definitely recommend it!

The sauna was a great way for my wife and me to relax after a day exploring the city. For 8 euro a day, you get the infrared sauna, a dry sauna and a nice shower. We had two rooms, side by side in their own little nook, and Julia and the rest of the staff were cheerful and very helpful. It’s a cool, cute hotel in a convenient spot. The train station is a pleasant, relaxing 10-minute walk away. Staying here costs less than staying in the city, but you can still reach the city center in 20 minutes. I highly recommend it.
