Cocoon Theresienwiese

Every bit of space in the room seems carefully used to make it feel roomy and comfortable. It's the most beautifully designed hotel I've stayed in, and sleeping there made me feel like a caterpillar in a cocoon. The staff were kind, patient, and professional. It's not in the center, but there's a lovely bakery right downstairs, and in the morning you can watch the pastry chefs making pastries down the street.

The club room worked well for our family. It had a double bed and a bunk bed, and was clean with no heating problems. The kitchen had basic silverware, a dishwasher, microwave, stove, and fridge. Nothing was fancy, and a lot of the hotel is just good enough: reception isn't open 24/7, cleaning only happens if you ask, and the lobby is on the second floor. It's beside the Oktoberfest grounds, though a little far from the city center, about a 10-12 euro Uber ride each way. Still, it was a good option for us. Thanks.

There are many great restaurants just a short walk away, and it's handy having a bakery right downstairs. Our room was quiet and clean, and we had a great stay with no complaints apart from the extremely expensive drinks. Highly recommend it, and we'll come back next time we're in Munich.

We were very happy with our stay in a Club House room with two adults and two kids. Larissa was exceptionally kind and helpful, and went above and beyond with the service. The room was much larger than it looked in the pictures, the beds were very comfortable, and everything was as expected and suited our needs. For non-Europeans booking, just be aware the kitchen doesn't have a kettle or toaster, and no cleaning supplies are provided. We asked the staff for something and they lent us some of their own supplies. That's just information for others, not a criticism. The location was great, a short walk or one bus stop from the train station. We'd happily stay again!
