Being close to Oktoberfest was the only real plus. The rooms were noisy, the bed was tiny and uncomfortable, and WiFi barely worked anywhere beyond the cafe near the hotel. My friend had a fan in his room, but mine didn't.

The rooms were pleasant and clean, and the location is excellent. But I was very disappointed to arrive after 6:00 PM and find reception closed. I had to call the number left on a piece of paper, pay international call charges, and wait for someone to come bring me the keys. The hotel itself isn't bad.

The staff is small in number but very friendly, and the hotel feels clean throughout. It has a strong artistic character, with minimalist rooms that each have their own theme. The subway is very close, and Marienplatz is 1.5 km away. Breakfast is full English.

Just a 10-minute walk from the central station, so the location worked well for me. The room was good value for the price, and I'm very satisfied.
