Hotel Neumayer feels personal in a way that's hard to find. It's family owned and has been handed down over generations, and the receptionist has welcomed guests here for more than 30 years. Everyone I met was warm and ready to help. The breakfast was a highlight, even though it isn't lavish. Fresh bread and rolls came from the neighborhood bakery, the charcuterie from a local butcher was excellent, and the homemade jams were lovely. The hotel clearly cares about good local ingredients. My room was spotless and comfortable, and the central location was surprisingly peaceful. I slept well with the window open. It made a great base after exploring Munich, and I'd happily recommend it.

Lovely garden, friendly and funny staff who were always helpful, and a great location. The quality for the price is hard to beat.

I checked out today after a nice stay. The bed was very comfortable, which matters to me since I'm picky about beds, though I wasn't as keen on the pillow. It was quiet too, and I didn't hear noise while I was there. Breakfast was okay. They said the hotel is family owned, and the receptionist was a really sweet lady. The subway is about a five-minute walk away. There's no AC or fan, so I'm not sure how comfortable the room would be in hot weather. Also, the doors are locked at 6, so make sure you have your key card when you go out.

A good option around the University clinic. The rooms were clean and very nice, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was quite good, and there's also a restaurant where you can eat and have a drink. The service was very nice too. I had an enjoyable holiday here and would recommend it.
