ACHAT Hotel München Süd

The location wasn’t great, pretty far from the center, though the shops were nearby and a few restaurants were close too. The room itself was okay and the beds weren’t bad, but the layout was odd: the wall was just glass and the door was like a shop door that you have to push. We had no fridge or kettle. Food was ordinary with little choice, and service was poor. They don’t clean the room unless you ask, and when we asked one day, they still didn’t do it and said they’d forgotten. Only one elevator was working, and on my last day two of them broke, so I had to carry my baggage down the stairs. I didn’t like the hotel.

A good option if you need to stay in this area, and the price was good. The U3 at Machtlfinger Straße is very close, so the city is about 20 minutes away by U Bahn, though it may not be the best choice if sightseeing is your main reason for being here. The room and bathroom were both quite large, the bed was very comfortable, and they were cleaned. The carpet could use replacing or renewal.

I really recommend this place. It’s close to the metro, a supermarket, and everything else you might need. The service was very good, and the reception guys I met from Turkish, Bulgaria and Italian were the best.

The room was modern and clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a modern feel. Breakfast tasted great, with sausage, ham, cheese, salad, omelette, boiled eggs, fruit, milk, cereal, juices, coffee and tea. The customer service was friendly and great. I was satisfied overall, and the location was great too.
