Cocoon Hauptbahnhof

We stayed in mid Jan’26, and the standards and service have really fallen since this place used to be good. The room was stifling, with no way to turn down the heat. We couldn't open the window, which was a big problem because the bathroom smelled of sewage. The coffee and tea setup was just a pod machine, some sugar, and two saucers. The bathroom light also switches off by itself while you're in the shower. I emailed my concerns twice after the stay and got no reply. They have no idea what client service means. Don't waste your money, and don't believe the marketing glitz.

The location was really convenient, about a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. The neighborhood didn't feel very touristy or especially fancy to me, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. I really enjoyed staying at the Cocoon Hauptbahnhof. The room was cozy and super clean, and the staff were great and helpful. A great experience, highly recommend!

A great place for a business trip, close to the central station and with a home away from home feel. I really liked the breakfast, and there was a coffee machine with oat milk, plus complimentary water and fresh fruit. The bed may be a little small for two, but larger rooms are available. There are lots of thoughtful touches, from the premium shower gel to the amazing hairdryer. Thank you!

The mountain theme is such a cool detail, and even the lift looks like a cable car, with a video inside that gives the impression you're heading up a mountain. I've stayed in few hotels as cool as this one. Our room was quirky but comfortable and had an infrared sauna. The staff were very friendly, and the location was superb for the station, with Marienplatz a short walk away. Can't wait for the next trip.
