Germania Boutique Hotel

Drilling started at 8 am and woke us every day for five days straight, including Saturday. The 5th floor was under construction, and the hotel hadn’t warned us. The walls are so thin that you can hear everything from neighboring rooms. For a place meant to be a 4-star hotel, this fell far short. I do not recommend it.

I stayed in room 219 on the second floor and enjoyed my visit. The room was left clean and tidy, and the housekeeper was professional, friendly, and quick to bring anything I needed. We had no language barrier. I’m grateful for the cleanliness and the good amenities, and I’ll book the same room next time.❤️😉

The main drawback was how thin the walls seemed. If someone in the next room made noise or even snored late at night, you could hear it all. Otherwise, the hotel was great: friendly staff, a clean room with air conditioning and a TV, and a very clean bathroom. You can also have the room tidied daily.

The service was good, and the staff were polite and nice. Getting to our room, 235, was the hard part: the lift went to one floor, then we had to carry our luggage up three steps, cross a hallway, take another lift, and climb more stairs. Luckily, we were still strong enough to manage it. I assume the more accessible rooms cost a bit extra because we chose a more affordable room to save money. Still, a cheaper room shouldn’t mean having to deal with stairs like this.
