There are a few nice places for food and drinks within a five minute walk, and breakfast had a decent continental selection. I stayed for a couple of nights in June, when Munich was heaving because Scotland were playing in the euros. I wasn't interested in all that, and the hotel stayed nice and quiet. It didn't seem like they'd hiked their prices either. The place was pleasant, clean and well furnished, and the mini bar was reasonably priced. At checkout, I only had a card to pay for my drinks, and they told me not to worry about it. I really enjoyed my stay.

We were well placed for exploring Munich, with the railway station just a five minute walk away. My family stayed at Lutter Hotel for four nights. The room was large, comfortable and always clean. Breakfast was included, with a very good range of choices, and the staff were consistently polite, available to help and happy to explain things.

The rooms are quite large, very clean, and fully equipped for cooking if you want to prepare your own food. For a hotel garni, where breakfast is the only meal, it offers good value within its price range.
