Getting around was easy: tram 19 stops right across from the hotel and reaches the city centre in 8-10 minutes. Our room was clean, though the bed felt lumpy, and we could hear far too much through the walls and from the corridor. Even from the 10th floor, music from guests downstairs was clear. The windows don’t open, so there was no way to get fresh air. Breakfast was a mess. Food was scattered across the buffet, there were no coffee cups, and the food seemed heavily cross-contaminated, so it wouldn’t suit anyone with allergies. We only saw one staff member, who was very rude: he scolded guests for using the “wrong” coffee cups, then said the right size wasn’t available and it wasn’t his problem. Reception was cold too, and at checkout nobody asked how our stay had been. The areas outside the rooms could have been cleaner as well. We got a great app deal that included an upgrade, parking, and breakfast. At the regular price, I’d have given the hotel a full star less. We won’t be back.

The location works well, and tram 19 makes it easy to reach the city. Housekeeping staff don’t speak English or German. Breakfast was okay, though the cheese selection and some other items weren’t very tasty, and the coffee machines seemed a bit old. If breakfast isn’t included, I’d look for a nearby cafe or bakery, since the hotel charges too much for it.

The room view is one of the things we especially enjoy at HYPERION when we visit Munich. The rooms are lovely, very clean, and wonderfully quiet. Staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. I’d happily recommend the hotel, along with its excellent breakfast and bar.

For a business trip, the hotel was modern and fairly comfortable, but there were several snags. The Wi-Fi didn’t work on the first evening, I never received a receipt, and all the messages sent to me were only in German. There was also an annoying pre-check-in form. At this price, I expected a flawless stay, and Hyperion didn’t deliver that.

The room had a lovely view, and it was packed with tech, including smart light switches and very fast Wi-Fi. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of options, and the hotel has lots of amenities. The one disappointment was the EV charging parking I’d requested: they couldn’t reserve a spot, and both spaces were already occupied.
