Moxy Munich Ostbahnhof

We stayed at the Moxy for both the first and second halves of our Munich trip. Each time, they let us into our room well before the official check-in time. After an early flight, being able to freshen up before exploring meant a lot. The staff were extremely nice and helpful on both stays, and leaving our large bags there for the five days we were away was clutch. We like standard Moxy rooms and don't need a closet, drawers, or ironing board, just a good bed and shower. This one had great water pressure and scalding hot water. It was clean and warm, with excellent soundproofing. Munich Ostbahnhof was a 10-minute walk away, linking us to Munich HBF and other local and regional trains. That made getting around easier. Around the corner were a Rewe, Lidl, and DM, so we could pick up water, snacks, and toiletries. Naturally, I loaded up on candy and snacks both when we arrived and before we left. I'd have no hesitation about staying here again.

Poor value for money. The minimalist room had no minibar, closet, coffee or tea, or even cups. The shower pressure was low, and breakfast was just okay at best. If the price were low, it might make sense, but it isn't.

Don't bother with breakfast. At 19€, it's the worst hotel breakfast you can get. The food was completely dry, like it had been sitting there for at least three days.

The rooms are nice and clean, and I like the lounge as well as the separate work area for business. The location is great for Werksviertel. Public transport takes a bit of a walk to reach, but that's not a big deal. I do always miss having a small fridge.
