We were unhappy with the room and went to reception within 15 minutes to ask for another one. The actual room was much smaller and completely different from the photos online, but the hotel was fully booked and had no solution to offer. We left straight away without using the room, and they refused to refund even a cent. The staff showed no flexibility or understanding. We expected at least a partial refund. Very disappointing service and a misleading presentation of the rooms. Wouldn't recommend.

The hotel concept reminded us of Japan, and we liked the place, but the way Miss Marina treated us really spoiled the stay. We knew guests were meant to take their own trash out. The trash room door was broken, so we told reception. Miss Marina sent us back down to floor -1 to wait by the trash room instead of simply taking the small bag, even though we had to leave. She shouted that the broken door wasn't her problem. We were trying to follow the concept, and the fault wasn't ours. She could have handled it kindly, but instead made things harder. We ended up taking the trash with us outside to catch our train. We shouldn't have had to absorb her anger, whatever she was dealing with personally. I think management should consider whether she should be in direct contact with customers. We liked the hotel a lot, but this left us disappointed during our holiday, and we couldn't give it five stars. Miss Diana, though, was professional, cheerful, and very helpful. She turned my day around after Miss Marina's rudeness.

The reception person nearly stopped me from using the gym because I had checked out 30 seconds earlier. She made a scene instead of letting me use the facilities before I left. I complained, and she eventually let me through. Earlier, housekeeping had come to clean at 8:30am without warning and woke me before checkout. Unacceptable service. Typical German behavior, rules ahead of common sense and service. I'm German, so I can say it. lol

The location is great, and both the room and its equipment were perfect. The price fits what you get, and I'd recommend the hotel without hesitation. I nearly didn't book because of the 4.1 stars, which seems unfair for such a great hotel when people are complaining about small, unnecessary things. 😊
