I usually book places through the Booking app without any trouble, but this time something went wrong with the internet or the system for October 2 and 3. My card was approved as usual, yet no confirmation arrived. I called my bank and Booking customer service first. Neither could see a reservation, and both told me to check with the hotel so I could make sure I wouldn't be charged. When I called, Seibel said I needed to email them and that Booking could reach them. I found it frustrating and impolite to be unable to get a clear answer by phone about whether I had a booking. I tried making the reservation again and got the same result. Booking later apologized for the hotel's attitude and said they would sort it out without charging my card. All of this was really unnecessary.

The internet was the one downside. If you're hoping to switch off from your phone, though, that might suit you 🤭. The hotel itself was lovely, with charming old-fashioned rooms and a simple, warming breakfast 💛✨.

I booked months ahead and sent several questions by email and through the (link unavailable) platform, but never got a reply or any update. That silence left me unsure about the service and worried about what my stay might be like. With Hotel Seibel rated around 3-3.7 stars on sites like (link unavailable) and Tripadvisor, I expected better communication. If you're thinking of booking, be ready for the possibility that your messages won't get answered. I hope they improve their customer service to match the quality of their amenities and location.

The breakfast was a highlight: lots of choices, really tasty, and I could take my time eating for 40 minutes without feeling rushed. The woman serving breakfast was lovely and kept everything organized in such a friendly way. I only needed a place for one night, Monday to Tuesday, in Munich, and this turned out to be a great choice. It's about a 10-minute walk from the train, right across from where Oktoberfest takes place, and in a nice building that seems old. I had a great stay.

I had a magical stay here, one I'll remember for a long time. The room and whole hotel were tidy and clean, and the breakfast was delicious in a lovely room full of paintings and pictures. The food and drinks were great, too. The staff were polite, kind, and really helpful. The location is fantastic, and the upstairs windows have a breathtaking view of Saint Paul's Church, Frauen Church (Frauenkirche in German), and more. I'd recommend this place to tourists from all over Planet Earth, and even the Universe if they're calm and nice!
