The room was tiny for such a high price, and very basic, without even a kettle. One man was really kind, respect, bro. A woman, though, spoke to us like we were staying for free, and seemed rushed to get home. Still, we had a nice stay.

I couldn’t get a proper night’s sleep. I kept waking up struggling to breathe because the room felt so hot and stuffy. Even in the middle of winter, it was like a sauna, and there was no ventilation. The AC made things worse somehow: setting it to 17°C seemed to make the room hotter. Opening the window wasn’t an option because of the terrible noise outside. It was a nightmare, the worst hotel experience of my life, and completely ruined my stay in Munich. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Sam at reception was warm and friendly, and the hotel is an easy five-minute walk from the tram for getting into the city. The room was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. There was no kettle or safe, but otherwise it was a pleasant stay and good value for money.

The room was spotless, and for a budget hotel it’s a decent place to stay. The TV was just average, though, and I couldn’t watch Netflix or similar. There’s a supermarket right beside the hotel and the tram is nearby. Most of the staff were cold and, at times, really rude. They gave the impression they didn’t want to be there. When we asked a woman if we could get a coffee at the bar, she said, “when I have time.” One man with glasses was lovely, though, and a delight to talk to.
