The fruit is the main reason I might come back. The supermarket is large and has nearly everything, especially a strong fruit and vegetable selection, but it’s poorly organized and not very clean. The meat is good, though expensive. Staff could be more professional. Today the cashier was chatting with the customer ahead of me even after he’d finished paying, so I had to wait for them to stop talking. It gives me the feeling they don’t care because they already have their customers. Another time I saw a staff member be rude to someone. That’s not acceptable.

This spacious Turkish grocery store in Munich is usually well stocked, with fresh produce, meat, fish, bakery goods, and traditional Turkish products. There’s a large butcher shop inside too. It gets very crowded, especially on weekends. You can pay in cash or with a German EC card, but card payment is only possible for bills over 5 euros.

I won’t shop there anymore. Three years ago I bought entre Cote from the meat counter, and it took three days to digest; I had stomach aches for all three days. I’d also ask for a kilo and get two, or request thin slices and be given thick ones. More recently, I checked a fruit box because the bottom can contain rotten or poor-quality fruit. The seller insulted me for inspecting it, so I’m done buying fruit there too. They sell rotten watermelons for 1 euro. It’s disappointing, and I’ll get my fruit and vegetables at Lidl from now on. It’s a popular place for produce, and you can buy good donar in the store.

I like this place for its genuine Turkish products. They get fresh fish every Tuesday.
