The room was clean and nicely presented, and the bathroom looked clean too, but the water was only lukewarm. The bed was far too soft, like a marshmallow, and the pillow was even worse. Earplugs helped with the church bell ringing every 15 minutes, though at 6 a.m. it chimed frantically for a full five minutes. We were glad we only stayed one night.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious each morning, and we felt like royalty. We stayed three days with a wedding party, and Simone and her staff made a real impression with their warm, generous hospitality.

The place has a rustic feel, with lots of wood throughout, which I really liked. We stayed five days and Ms Hepperle spoiled us with breakfast every day. Her hospitality was warm, too.

Nice people and a nice room, but getting any sleep was impossible. The church is 10 m from the bedroom and rings every 15 minutes. It's not suitable for sleeping!
