B&B Hotel Neu-Ulm

The room had what we needed for one night: it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had enough towels. Getting in was easy once we had the room code, and checking out was just as simple. We left without handing in a key at reception, then headed off to discover ULM and get ready for our meeting. The check-in terminal was a bit of a struggle when we arrived very late in the afternoon. Its screen kept freezing, so we had to try three different terminals. Following the steps on the screen did eventually get us the code. One other surprise was being woken early when a staff member opened our door while we were still asleep.

There were some leaf-footed bugs in my room, which may have come from the nearby trees in the warm weather. The hotel has some nice features, but finding them affected my comfort, so guests should know about it. I was here on a business trip.

The room was fine and large enough for three people, though there was nothing luxurious about it. Parking costs extra, and arriving late left us with no way to pay for the private garage. The reception machines let you buy breakfast but not parking, which doesn't make sense. We had to use the nearby Parkhaus on the first night.

There wasn’t really any service to rate, since everything was self-service with keypads and access codes. It all worked well, though, so I’ve no complaints.
