Reception staff were always smiling and friendly, and the riverside location right below the old city is great. There's a parking garage under the hotel for a small fee. I also really enjoyed the on-site sauna, which costs a little extra. I stayed one night while visiting Birdland on the Danau jazz club. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, though the room was a bit small. My one complaint was the lack of outlets: there was only one free one next to the bed and none at the small desk for my laptop, so I had to unplug the floor lamp.

The room was quiet and laid out well. The staff were cheerful and helpful. Breakfast wasn't a large buffet, but what they had was good quality.
