I haven't stayed there myself, but my father grew up in that house. His grandparents lived there during the 1950s and early 1960s, and his great-grandparents were there before them. Back then the house was called Hinnerechs.

Cafe Maarblick across the street has fresh rolls every day, and there's a fully equipped kitchen if you'd rather make dinner at home. You can also walk to several places for coffee and cake or to restaurants serving good food, often with regional dishes. This is my second stay in the Bauernstube, and it's a place where I feel at home. It's one of the coziest, most lovingly restored apartments I've come across, and it's fully equipped. The shower is a joy too. Just watch your head if you're over about 1.85 m, the low doorways and beams caught me out, and it hurt.

We had a lovely stay, and I slept better than I have in a long time. The shower was perfect, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the TV had all I needed. The kitchen is a delight, full of charm. If you want the feel of a roughly 300-year-old building, this is the place. Thanks!
