It’s right in town, and the place feels new and clean. Wi-Fi works well. Just note there’s no lift, and breakfast is basic, so I’d skip it.

We booked the family room on the day we arrived, so we didn’t get a check-in link. The staff at the retirement home service desk helped us out very kindly. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a lovely overnight stay. There’s a nice outdoor balcony, free parking, and plenty to do nearby.

The rooms are roomy and clean, though they can get pretty warm in hot weather since there’s no air conditioning. Parking right outside is free. Getting in was easy too: a code arrived by email for both the building entrance and our room. Breakfast was lovingly put together, with plenty of variety and enough to eat. I can recommend 1860 Hotel im Dinkelhaus almost wholeheartedly.

Breakfast the next morning was amazing, so delicious! The bike garage was huge, with no trouble parking or charging our bikes. We stayed here for the first time yesterday and loved everything. If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely book here.

The bike tours nearby were fantastic, and there was plenty of delicious breakfast to set us up. Our room was clean and modern, the staff very friendly, and the bike storage was excellent. A perfect place to stay if you’re cycling. Highly recommended!
