We all enjoyed our meals, and the side salads were included in the price. Just under €50 for three people felt perfectly reasonable. It's a well-located country inn with a lovely atmosphere, friendly service, and plenty of parking. Good traditional German food at fair prices. We'll gladly come back. We took the photos a little late because we were so hungry 😅

The portions were generous, the home-style cooking was delicious, and children are welcome. Service was very friendly, and the owner brought the food over himself. It's a cozy inn with plenty of parking and easy to find. We were on a short break in the Bavarian Forest and, while looking for dinner, came across the place. One quick call got us a table for seven, and we arrived 30 minutes later. Excellent value for money. We only came for dinner, so I can't comment on the rooms. Highly recommended. If we're in the area again, this will be our go-to place!

After we ordered, they brought out a small appetizer platter for free, with bread and really tasty sausage. The waitress greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome right away. My girlfriend had a large, delicious schnitzel with fried potatoes, and I had an excellent burger with potato wedges. The food was great and the portions generous, so we were both more than full. We were on vacation and came here for dinner on our hotel's recommendation. We were very satisfied and would gladly return if we're in the Bavarian Forest again.
