The apartment had plenty of space, was well equipped, and came with good Wi-Fi and a large TV with Netflix. The bedrooms were large, with lovely multicolour mood lighting. There was a nice balcony, and the kitchen had a coffee machine, toaster, and oven, though no microwave. Parking was a headache. Nearby spots were fairly cheap, but all had a three-hour limit from 7:00 to 19:00. We ended up using the train station car park, a ten-minute walk away, where 24-hour parking cost €2.40. The area was another issue. I expected some traffic noise in town, but lots of drivers in fancy cars seemed to enjoy revving their engines and squealing their tires day and night. Even in hot weather, we had to keep the windows fully closed.

The owner was helpful, and our family really appreciated how huge the apartment was. There’s no elevator, though, so we had to leave the stroller under the stairs in the shared hall. Since it’s right in the center, parking isn’t ideal and costs extra. You have to pay with coins, which was a bit of a nuisance as a foreigner who mostly uses cards.
