The breakfast room looks out over the lake, and there’s a good range of food to start the day. This small hotel has a peaceful feel, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It’s only a short drive from the highway, so it’s worth the detour for an overnight stop or a longer holiday. The lakeside location is lovely.

The owner speaks English and was really helpful over email. It’s a nice little hotel right by the lake, with good rooms and breakfast. The restaurant closing is a shame, though there’s plenty nearby.

We were three at dinner, and the other guests that evening were mostly older, but that shouldn’t put anyone off going. The service was quick, friendly, and unobtrusive. There’s a wide choice of local dishes, including vegan, fish, and meat mains, plus pre-arranged three-course menus. The food was very good in taste and quality, and especially nicely presented. The restaurant sits on the lakeshore with lovely views, and its Biergarten looks like a great place on a warm summer evening.

The restaurant serves delicious food, and I tried quite a few dishes during my stay. The people were welcoming and very friendly. The hotel is close to the lake and within walking distance of the city center. October 2020.

Quiet, spotless, and right at the edge of the lake. It was hot when I visited in late July, but the windows have fly screens, so I left them open and was comfortable. Such a peaceful spot, with good breakfast and dinner too.
