Garner Hotel Augsburg Nord by IHG

We stopped here while driving through Germany. It’s a lovely hotel with really nice rooms, and the staff were very friendly, even though it’s in an industrial estate. Parking costs €5, which wasn’t mentioned on the booking. I’d definitely recommend it.

The breakfast was fresh and had a good range of options, and the staff made check-in and check-out easy with their welcoming help. Our room at Garner Hotel Augsburg was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. A great choice for either a short or longer stay in Augsburg.

It’s clean and quiet, and the hospitality is incredible. Ask for Georgia, Simon or Anna, they’re super nice. The hotel is remote, so you’ll need transport for the last leg of the trip and back.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room had plenty of space for two. The hotel is a little outside the center, but it suited me perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially the kind, welcoming staff. Breakfast is served in a huge area, with a well-stocked buffet and a fun Nutella dispenser. The coffee was excellent, and the evening snacks I tried at the bar were delicious. I heard the restaurant is due to open in October, so I’ll come back to try it. There’s a small gym with several machines, and a sauna is under construction. The hotel also has large meeting rooms and lots of outdoor space. I noticed guest washing machines and dryers near the fitness area, though I didn’t use them. You can get here by taxi or Uber for around €15 from Augsburg station, or drive and use the spacious outdoor parking for about €5.
