The hotel sits by a lake at the entrance to Eifel National Park, and most rooms face the park and water. We stayed one night over a weekend and really enjoyed it: the room was spotless, had a balcony with a lovely view, and the food was great. The staff were very friendly, giving the place a real family hotel feel. There’s a large car park out front, with an electric car charger.

We arrived in a rainstorm and were welcomed with a hot drink, which was a lovely touch. The family-run hotel is clean and modern, and our twin room had a view of the lake, plus an en-suite bathroom, fridge, TV, and kettle. They let us park our motorcycles in the large garage, and there’s also a public car park almost opposite. We didn’t book breakfast, though coffee and tea were available in the morning. Would happily recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Our family of five had plenty of room in the spacious family room. The hotel was spotless throughout, and the atmosphere was excellent. The staff and management were both friendly and professional. We also ate very well at the restaurant, which was run really smoothly. Compliments to Heinz and his staff! :)

The hotel’s by a lake and at the entrance to Eifel National Park, and we had a great family weekend there. The rooms were super clean, the views were beautiful, and the food was great. Everyone was very friendly, with a real family hotel feel. One small drawback is that the front door stays locked, and there’s only one room key, so you need to coordinate when coming in. The bar also closes at 10 pm, but there’s a self-service area where you can get drinks after that.
