Getting to the old town and trade fair grounds was really quick, and there are some highly rated cafes very nearby. The hotel was unbelievably clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It made a perfect base for our visit to Düsseldorf. Highly recommend it.

There's everything you need here, and the staff are lovely. The place is cozy and well connected, just 15 minutes from the main station, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby as well as a bus and Uban station. I did get woken up a few times by people talking in the hall. You can hear them quite clearly from your room because the sound insulation between the hall and rooms isn't great.

Traveling with a toddler, we had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable, breakfast was great, and staff were very friendly with excellent service. It's reasonably priced for a prosperous part of town. We really appreciated how quickly they replied to emails, which made sorting things out easy. The reservable parking lot is a huge plus. In my opinion, it's one of the best places to stay in the area. Thank you!

The rooms are a little older and smaller, as others have said, but they've been nicely renovated and were very clean. We both slept well on a good bed, and the area was fairly quiet. For the price, I don't think you can beat the quality. We had a wonderful stay and city trip to Dusseldorf, and we'll stay here again next time. Book direct, since it was the cheapest option and a good way to support independent hotels like this. Lenard was at reception for most of our stay. He was welcoming, answered all our questions, and suggested where to go, what to do, and how to get there. We had refrigerated items with us and could keep them in the hotel fridge. We also wanted to buy altbier as a souvenir, but it was a holiday, so Lenard let us buy a six-pack from the hotel, which was great. There are about five parking spots on site. We got there early enough to use one for €10 per day and kept our car there for our two-night stay. The tram stop is around the corner, about 100 meters away, and the system was easy to use for getting around. We used the 48-hour tourist ticket. We didn't choose breakfast, so can't comment on it, but there are coffee and breakfast places across the street where you can sit on a terrace. There's also a beerhall across the street that makes its own altbier. If you're feeling lazy, you can have a drink there in an "authentic" setting instead of going to the altstadt, which you should do.

The breakfast is a small buffet, but it has what you need: coffee, tea, fruit, eggs, meat, and cheese. The cleaning lady comes by every day by default. Rooms aren't very big or pretty, but they cost significantly less than other places around Dusseldorf, and that didn't bother me. The people are very friendly, and the night guard is a real plus. You won't find a better connection to the underground. The rails are just around the corner, and trains pass often, so you rarely wait more than 10 minutes. They get you downtown quickly, or if you prefer walking, the center of Dusseldorf is about 30 minutes away. Very good overall, I'd recommend it.
