The people looking after the hotel are amazing and really friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. It’s a great location, about a 10-15 minute walk into town and to the river. There’s a local rock bar and a family-run pizza takeaway just around the corner. Parking is available, and breakfast kept us full until early evening. There were vegetarian options too. I’d recommend staying here if you visit.

The brother and sister who run this cozy city hotel are so kind that I’d come back just for them. Free parking was a nice extra, and breakfast was a perfect start to both mornings I stayed. I’d recommend it.

This is a basic hotel, not the place for white gloves and crystal chandeliers. It’s run by a very helpful family and kept exceptionally clean, with everything from WiFi to breakfast at a high standard for a family-owned place. The staff look after you and help however they can, always with a smile. Do yourself a favour and stay here instead of one of the city’s corporate hotels.

The manager was very nice and helpful, and the hotel was clean and quiet. I really liked my stay.

We got excellent value for money at this small family-run hotel. The owners were sincere and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Our room was adequate and warm enough for winter, with steady hot water in the shower and good bathroom heating. Breakfast was included and great. The hotel is well located in the city, with free parking on site, though the spaces are tight.
