2nd Home Hotel

The old town is really close, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional too. Everything went smoothly. If you get the chance to stay here, I'd recommend it.

After a long, exhausting trip, we checked in and the hotel seemed fine at first. But our room had neither air conditioning nor a fridge, which felt like very basic amenities to be missing at a four-star hotel. There was a weak fan, a manual filter coffee maker, and a bottle of water that was hot and refillable. We didn't dare try the water. The hotel is near the railway, and there's also a loud generator at the crossing that competes with the passing trains. I wouldn't recommend it to tired travelers, during hot weather, or to anyone who needs decent hydration.

Just outside the old city walls, this is a clean, modern hotel with spacious rooms and a comfortable bed. The bar and restaurant looked nice, though I didn't have dinner there, and breakfast was fine. The coffee machine at breakfast was actually good. In the room, though, there was no air conditioning, fridge, or coffee maker. I'd recommend staying here if you're in the area.

Our room was very good, with a lovely view over Nördlingen. The staff were friendly, though service is limited. There was no night service, and both the restaurant and bar were closed on Saturday evening.
