JUNIPRO Apartments Bostalsee

The bathroom and the other rooms were very nice, and cleanliness was excellent. We also appreciated having a washing machine in the basement, though it cost extra. Our apartment was listed for up to 5 people, but one bed was placed in the hallway by the entrance. Since we had a dog, the person sleeping there was disturbed whenever the dog went out, with no privacy at all. The balcony fit three people at most, and some of the dishes were only for three. Cooking was limited by a kitchenette with two burners and no oven. We had a rainy day and hoped to stay in despite the cramped space, but the TV wouldn’t work in the rain and streaming wasn’t possible. One key for everyone also made it hard to go off and do separate things. More than one key would help. I’d say it’s fine for couples and weekend trips, but I have serious reservations about recommending it to families. Kudos to the cleaning team!

Apartment 6 was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, with a basket of essentials waiting on the table when we arrived. We booked at the last minute for that same day, and even a two-night stay was no problem. The contact was very friendly and replied almost immediately. We came with our dog and were more than happy with the place. The lake is only a few minutes away on foot. It looks like parking spaces are still being built, so for now you can only park on the street. I’d definitely recommend the apartment, including for people with a dog, which can be tricky. We’ll be back.

We won’t book again, as this place doesn’t work for us. It’s unfortunately not very suitable for older people. The sofa sits very low and the loveseat is uncomfortable. There’s no proper table, just a narrow, high bar table with two stools, so having breakfast is almost impossible. At the desk there’s only one regular chair. The balcony has two old wooden loungers with fabric covers but no table. The bedroom and shower were okay, but they weren’t in the apartment.

A peaceful, pleasant stay. I’d recommend it to anyone.
