Appartementhaus Sonnengarten

We spent New Year’s in Silz with our whole group, and it turned into a wonderful celebration. The owners even made homemade goulash. Fantastic.

The sauna was a real treat after a long day. This holiday home is clean and beautifully furnished, and the hosts are so friendly. It’s also in a great spot for long walks and relaxing in nature. I had a fantastic stay.

We’ve stayed in holiday apartments for years without problems, but we won’t return to Sonnengarten. The street was noisy, though that wasn’t our main issue. We had repeated late-night noise from the family upstairs, with children jumping on their beds. After politely asking the landlord several times over two days to speak to them, we eventually packed up and drove home at 11:30 pm. The landlord said on the phone more than once that he’d go over, but then only listened briefly from the garden, where it was quiet. To me, he seemed focused on making money and lied to us about dealing with the problem. Even on arrival, we waited in the car for 30 minutes because we couldn’t reach him, despite giving half an hour’s notice. That was a poor start, though we were on vacation and tried to make the best of it. The apartment itself had adequate equipment.

We’ve been back to the Sonnengarten apartment several times and have always had a relaxing stay. The hosts are very friendly and the rooms are clean. Definitely recommend it.
