I call it the hotel no go. The hotel itself is good as long as you don’t need food or service. Nothing seems possible, and when you do need help, you have to go track down the staff.

The breakfast was tasty and perfectly adequate, and the staff were consistently attentive and friendly. The rooms are spacious and well cared for. The hotel grounds are wonderful, with greenery, a pond, barbecue spots, and more. The pool was closed, though there’d been no mention of that when I asked about using it beforehand. The sauna helped make up for it. The kitchen hadn’t opened yet because of the seasonal business, which was easy to overlook. Definitely worth a visit. Until next time!

There’s a shed where cyclists can lock up their bikes, and the paths are great, including the forest routes. Dogs are very welcome, with a dog park where they can run and play. The little apartments have what you need: a fridge with a small freezer compartment, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, and a TV for rainy days. Breakfast is an optional add-on with a great selection for different tastes. Everyone was friendly and the grounds were well maintained. I’d come back in a heartbeat, it was simply wonderful.

I’ve been here a week and have three more to go. It’s so peaceful, just right if you want to completely unwind, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The surroundings are pure nature. You get your own key and can access your accommodation at any hour, and drinks are available around the clock too. The lake is an easy walk away, or you can rent a bike there if you’d rather not walk. These photos were taken on-site, not from the internet!
