Racers Retreat

On my recent trip to Nürburg, I stayed at Racers Retreat and would happily recommend it to both newcomers and experienced racers. Markus was a friendly, gracious host who knew the area well. Our first-timers package included a tour of the town and nearby area, plus a lesson about the region’s history. It also came with a nimble, fun BMW 318 rental. The hotel was clean, modern, and very well situated, just off the main road and minutes from the Ring. I’ll stay here again next time.

Of the hotels and bungalow parks I’ve tried on visits to the Nurburgring, Racers Retreat has been the best so far. It’s built to a very high standard and suited our needs perfectly. Thanks, Markus. We’ll be back soon!

The beds were fantastic, and the hotel is furnished really well. Markus runs the place and is friendly, passionate about motorsports, and very helpful if you want to learn more about Nurburg.

We rented the RR BMW E36 for about what other companies charge for an entry-level Suzuki Swift, so now I can brag to my friends that I drove around the ring in an E36 without breaking the bank. Markus was a communicative host and made the stay enjoyable, sharing useful local insights and putting us up in one of the modern RR apartments. Restaurants, the nurburgring building, and the castle are all within walking distance. I’d normally give good service a 4/5, but Racer's Retreat went the extra mile and deserves more than 5/5. Tip: tell Racer's Retreat beforehand what you plan to do, since Touristenfahrten opening hours at the Nurburgring can be unpredictable.
