We loved the charming, unique two-bedroom apartment in the old part of the building. The location worked perfectly for our visit to Nürnberg's Christkindlmarkt. The common area was comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and offered lots of choices. I'd stay here again when I return to Nürnberg and recommend it to friends and family. Thanks for a great stay.

We really enjoyed the young man who worked the desk from 2 to 11. It's a very nice hotel. The one downside was being near the red light district. 😳

We planned to stay here for six nights before trying another hotel, but liked Hotel am Jakobsmarkt so much that we stayed for the full two and a half weeks in August 2025. We'll definitely return. Our "Double room Anno 1552” was in a 16th century half-timbered house next to the main hotel. It was modern and comfortable while still having lots of character. There was plenty of space, a very comfortable bed, and it was very, very quiet. It also had a desk and mini refrigerator. The location made it easy to walk to the old town's main sights and attractions, with a metro station, grocery stores, and cafes nearby. Historische Bratwurstküche Zum gulden Stern, one of the city's best German restaurants, was two doors away. The staff were friendly, helpful, and efficient. We couldn't have been more pleased.

A reasonably priced hotel with a good standard, quiet rooms, and a nice breakfast. It's centrally located in Nuernberg.

The staff were nice and helpful, and the historical building is in a great location. My room was clean and well appointed, and the shower was great. The bathroom, though, was so tiny it was hard to move around.
