Best Living Hotel Arotel

The rooms get really hot in summer. Some air conditioning or even fans would make a big difference.

We've stayed here twice now, and both visits went really well. The staff are friendly, and breakfast is well priced with lots to choose from. Rooms are clean and spacious, and there's plenty of parking. Since we often arrive late, being able to check ourselves in at night is especially handy. We'll stay here again on future trips.

It's a clean hotel that seems to cater mostly to business travelers, though there were some children too. The rooms are adequate, and the showers and bathrooms are very nice. Watch out for the high sided tub with the shower in it. It's several miles from the old city, but the prices reflect that.

The breakfast was a wonderful bargain, with a huge range: American breakfast foods, fruit, bread and pastries, fresh vegetables and salads, yogurt, meats, and cheeses. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and my room was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. Some furnishings in the rooms and common areas are a bit dated, though. There are two grocery stores, a gas station, and a Biergarten nearby, and the bus stop is a few hundred meters away. We used it to connect to the train and get to old town Nuremberg easily. The hotel is a little outside the center, but I enjoyed my stay and would consider it again if I return to Nuremberg. I was assigned the hotel after completing Army field training and wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived.
