Best Western Hotel Nuernberg Am Hauptbahnhof

A public transport problem left me stranded here, and I ended up loving my stay. They already knew I was coming, and although the hotel is close to the main train station, it still felt homey. The breakfast selection was great, the lounge cozy, and the staff super nice. I'd love to come back.

We got in at 03:15 am, and checking in was no problem. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean, just as you'd expect at best western. Recommended, and we'll be back. Thank you!!

Borrowing bikes for free and riding around the city was a nice bonus during my four nights here. The staff were incredibly nice, and every interaction was really good. The room's decor initially struck me as tacky and sparse, and I nearly left to find another hotel when I first opened the door. After a good night's sleep, though, I felt much better about it. I got what I paid for and more. A bigger shower and a safe in the room would have made this a five star review, but those were the only things missing. I'd definitely recommend it.

The room was okay, but outside noise came through badly enough that I needed the earplugs the hotel provided to sleep. What brought my rating down to two stars was the old man at reception that night, who was completely unprofessional. Without that, I'd have given it three.
