City Apartment in Nürnberg Center

The place was filthy, and the staff seemed incompetent. Their listing says guests should let them know about check-in after 10, but when I tried, there was no proper way to communicate. I ended up having to find another hotel, since they refused to refund me. Losing the money was bad, but avoiding more stress mattered more. If you want to pay and then spend the night out on the street, this place will do.

We booked a room for two with an extra-large couples bed, but got two separate beds against opposite walls with a nightstand between them. They just told us to push the beds together. While moving one, we noticed the TV antenna cable was broken too.

The location is what makes this hostel a great choice. I wasn't expecting much from the facilities, but they surprised me: the tiny room was spotless, the bed really comfortable, and there was a TV, dresser, sink, and nightstands. The bathroom was just as clean, and the service was lovely. I learned it's a family-run place led by Samir. He and his wife are doing a great job keeping it in good shape. I highly recommend Hostel Nurnber, and I'll definitely stay again on our next visit to Nurnberg. 👌

For what you pay, this hostel offers more than the basics, and more than many other places manage to provide. The room was clean and pleasant.
