The staff were a real help, even bringing an ironing board and iron up for my dress shirts. I also liked having the minibar stocked with drinks and snacks for a late-night bite. My room was spacious for one person, and the hotel itself is a lovely little place right in the city center. The bathroom was standard-sized for the room, though the shower was cramped. The only real nuisance was cooking smells from the attached restaurant drifting in when I opened the windows. The food smelled good, but sometimes you just don't want those smells in your room. Apart from that, I had a great stay.

We spent two nights here as a family of five, using three rooms. The hotel sits right in Nuremberg's old town, a short walk from the main square and castle, and about a ten-minute drive from the main train station. The reception team were friendly and helpful throughout. I know a little German, but their English was much better than mine. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated for such an old building, though not especially big, and the showers are quite compact. Breakfast was good value, with plenty of continental choices and some hot food despite the small dining area. I'd strongly recommend it for a visit to Nuremberg.

Very clean hotel in a nice, quiet spot, and pets are welcome. The woman-run place has good breakfast food, too. It wasn't very convenient for someone with a disability, and getting around was a bit difficult. I think they could make some improvements there. Parking is a little way from the hotel, though loading and unloading were fairly easy.

We were four people on a cycling holiday, and the hotel had a locked cage for our bikes in a nearby underground car park. It's a charming old-town place, with friendly, helpful staff and a good breakfast. The cathedral square, nearby restaurants, and the castle are all a short walk away. Recommended.

We had a smaller room, apparently, but it was clean, the service was great, and the old-town location made it easy to reach historic sights and restaurants. Most places are walkable, although there are hills and cobblestones to deal with. The hotel dates back to the 1300s and has modern amenities, which makes it a bit unusual. Our room was on the third floor, and the last flight of wooden stairs creaked a lot. There's no elevator to our half of the hotel. The sloping roof also means you can bump your head if you're not careful. Breakfast was surprisingly extensive for a small place, with eggs, meats, cheeses, cereal, bread, and vegetables and salads in individual cups. The restaurant was closed on both nights we stayed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
