Melissa and Johanna were especially helpful with questions, quick to replenish things, and ready to assist. I was traveling for business and needed a package delivered to the hotel. When it was delayed, they went out of their way to help and waited for it. Getting to the hotel is convenient on foot, by public transport, or by car. The rooms were good and had the standard amenities. The staff really made the stay feel great.

The owners, Sia and Mayda, are welcoming and have done a fantastic job with this new hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean, well appointed, and very quiet, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s in a handy part of the old town, with the main sights, subway, and train station all within a 15-minute walk. I’d gladly recommend it as a base in Nuremberg.

We came to Hotel Sandkorn over the Christmas holidays, and I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Melissa helped with booking and check-in, and then we had a lovely time chatting with her, Mayda, and Siya over gluhwein. Their service and attitude made the visit feel especially welcoming and pleasant. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the location worked perfectly for the Christmas markets and shopping on the main street. Warm, refreshing hospitality, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. The staff were so warm and welcoming, and the hotel’s sleek, modern, elegant decor fits beautifully in a 17th century building. The central location is great too.

The owners are lovely and make the stay feel personal. The hotel is right in the heart of Nurnberg and really well located. I travel a lot, and this is one of my favorites. If I can, I’ll stay here again next year.
