The owner, Vaniah, was extremely helpful, friendly, and patient when our van wouldn't start, and helped us sort out the problem. The camping ground is spacious and well maintained. Highly recommend!

The wooded grounds have level grass pitches, and the toilets, showers and other services were pretty good. It’s open all year, with the Autobahn nearby and a handy Metro station that goes straight into central Nuremberg. A motorhome stay for two adults cost €53, which seemed reasonable.

If you’re coming in a caravan or motorhome, the site seems suitable. The location is excellent, and the toilets and washrooms are not too bad, but the cleaning staff were very poor. They tried to clean early in the morning, just when people wanted to shower, do dishes or laundry, and all we got were nasty looks and side-eye. I wouldn’t recommend it for a tent. The tent areas are heavily used by motorhomes, leaving the ground churned up and mostly muddy. They flood easily in the rain, and they’re beside a busy road.

The pitches are large, and filling or emptying water was easy. We stayed one night in our motorhome to visit Nürnberg. The sanitary facilities were OK, and the nearest Metro is about a 15-20 minute walk away, then it takes 10 minutes to reach the city center. At €53 a night with electricity, we felt it was a little overpriced for an ordinary campsite compared with others.
