LUXOMES - Aparthotel Zentrum

I don't think this place deserves its 4-star reviews. The shared kitchen had most of the amenities you'd need, and there are several nearby streets with free parking if you can find a space. But there were a lot of problems with our room and the check-in. We paid extra to arrive 2 hours before the scheduled time, but still had no room code for the self check-in. We waited 30-45 minutes just to reach someone by phone and get it. The beds were uncomfortable, the rooms were small despite how the photos make them look, and we could hear everything from neighboring rooms through the very thin, makeshift walls. Our bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close properly. There was a ventilation device in the bathroom, but it didn't work, so smells went into our tiny room and had to leave through the window. The main door lock doesn't work, meaning anyone can come and go. There are also cameras in all the shared areas, including the lobby and kitchen, which may be an issue for some people. We contacted the owner about a problem in our room, but I found his attitude toward resolving customer problems unhelpful. I don't think he should be in the hospitality business.
