I was surprised by how quiet the room stayed, even with plenty of other rooms rented out. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the main station, but manageable with luggage. The room was clean, with basic furniture and a TV. There’s a nice shower and sink, while the toilets and shared kitchen are out in the corridor. Check-in is self-service, with instructions sent before arrival, which is handy if you get in late. My main issue was the mattress, probably the hardest I’ve ever slept on, and the pillowcases smelled a bit. Otherwise, the room was clean.

A good place to stay in Nuremberg if you’re on your own and only staying a short time.

Everything else was clean, and the large kitchen was well laid out. The owner was very friendly, and we communicated through WhatsApp. Hot water comes from a boiler, though, so if it runs out, you have to finish your shower with cold water. That’s why I took off a star.
