Übernachten in der Tenne

We spent about three nights here over Easter, and the room was spotless, recently renovated, and had the feel of a five-star place. The in-room kitchen was especially handy: it had what we needed to make breakfast and a good coffee. They also clean the rooms, and the staff were good, particularly Mr. Smith, I think, and the cleaning lady. My partner and I found the rooms very nice, and the town is about a 20-minute drive from Nuremberg, which was fine for us. I did feel uncomfortable with Mrs. Smith, though. When we crossed paths, she didn't look at me, but looked at my partner and spoke to him in German. At first I wondered if there was another reason, but the next day I realized she speaks English, and she still didn't acknowledge me when she saw me again. I felt she might have had a problem with me because I'm a foreigner, which seems odd for someone working in hospitality.
