We've stayed at Alpinissimo three times this winter and treasured the time there. The views from the many windows and balconies were wonderful, especially watching the snow and sunshine. The apartments were well equipped and appointed, peaceful, and the spa facilities were lovely. Frau Knöpfle and Frau Angerer put so much care into the details, and promptly took care of every request. They even arranged birthday flowers and a surprise prosecco. Alpinissimo is a real gem in Oberammergau and the region. Five stars plus plus!

Spotless, with a perfect shower, lovely rooms, and a sauna and gym. The service was excellent. Just fantastic, I'd highly recommend it.

I'm staying here now, and for me it's absolutely worth it. If you're visiting for NSO, I'd definitely recommend it. The apartment ( Wiesmahd ) has everything you could need, and the hosts have thought through all the details. There's even a spare backpack in case you want to hike, an essential oil scent machine for relaxing, oven paper already set in the oven, and every kitchen tool I could need. The ceramic cups and dishes are lovely, and so is the bedroom. I'm glad I chose this place. It's made my visit comfortable and relaxing, and it feels like being at home. The only two things I'd personally have liked were a larger duvet cover and a weight scale. Even so, Alpinissimo beats any starred hotel I've stayed in for comfort and attention to detail.

We loved the saunas, and Christiane was an excellent host, friendly and accommodating. The apartment was beautiful, clean, and peaceful, with amazing views of the eastern mountains. It's about a 15-minute walk to the downtown restaurants. We'd definitely stay again.

We stayed in Edelweiss, and it was clean, fully equipped, and had everything we needed. A storm delayed us by 2.5 hours, but the owner still welcomed us. They were very helpful, and we also really enjoyed the sauna. Thank you, Frau Knopfle, for a pleasant stay!
