A comfortable place to rest and recover. Jeff and the staff are thorough and punctual, and snacks and drinks are available around the clock. Falling asleep to the church bells was comforting.

The location is right in the center, so the whole town is an easy walk away, and the town itself was peaceful and very quiet at night. Behind the building, down a tiny side street, there’s parking for about 6-7 cars. Check-in was quick and easy, and everyone was friendly. My room was clean and spacious, with a minibar, wardrobe, mountain view, and a very comfortable bed and pillows. The shower had hot water, breakfast was excellent, and the stay included a free König Pass for local attractions and discounts.

We stayed in the Family suite, which was bright, spacious, and comfortable in this traditional house with modern updates. The area was quiet but only a 5 min walk from the center, and guest parking was on site. The owner was kind and helpful, and we had a very pleasant stay.

The building’s exterior doesn’t show how good this place is. My room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with great mountain views. I hadn’t expected breakfast, and it was a wonderful extra: eggs and bacon cooked to order, plus a well-stocked buffet with fresh baked goods, juices, and cold cuts. Everything was delicious. The owner and staff were friendly, and I’d happily recommend this Oberammergau stay. I’ll be back.

The hosts shared lots of local information that helped make the stay great. This lovely bed and breakfast is right in central Oberammergau, with well-appointed, updated rooms and private bathrooms. Breakfast had excellent options too.
